apparently March wore me out, all that posting. but here we are, still doing our thing.
we made eggs, and then ate them. we purchased an exciting new tool for the latter.
it's a funny and wonderful thing, anatole gets very attached to kitchenware. in Seattle he made friends with a green silicone whisk that we had to bring home with us (duh) and he seriously slept a couple nights with it clutched in his arms.
we went to the park the other day to celebrate the first-ever skirt that i made all by myself (ahem).
a whole new direction for me, craftily and sartorially speaking, i don't think i've ever owned polka dots. but it cheers me inexplicably, and i'm so proud. now, none of you seamstresses out there (Laurel, Heidi, Jane, i'm talking to you) look too closely. perfectionism is a whimsy with me, and lately it goes more often than it comes.
and anatole got to use the camera for the very first time. some of my favorites:
