crisped edges

wilting flowers

i loved observing the very gentle decay of these flowers throughout the fall, they were so beautiful at each stage. would that we all could age so gracefully...

sunrise and OMSI

sunrise and OMSI

that's Oregon Museum of Science and Industry for those who don't know...fact: my brother and i were in an OMSI commercial when we were little. this looks much darker on the web for whatever reason. i don't quite get along perfectly with all this technology yet.

these next few pictures i took after my dawn practice with my dragonboat team (well bust my buttons!). they've all been done, i'm sure, but here they are again. i love getting to be on the water, with the sunrise, working, nevermind that it's HARD!

candle tips

sunrise over quay

i love these white peaks all over the waterfront and esplanade.

practice boats

practice boats

far less glamorous than the real deal, but eminently more maneuverable.

i love all these words: wharf, pier, quay, dock.

from late october, one of the best afternoons ever. to see all these photos individually, click on the mosaic and it will take you to my flickr photostream where they all live!

the boy

boy on floor

this one from the other day, wrestling with the unseen...

twig

beachtwig

another one i've been meaning to get to...there will be a lot of old stuff cropping up, probably, as i haven't had my camera out very much at all of late. hope to remedy this soon!

pollen

one more from our summer new mexico trip, i'm also playing with the blog layout (as you can see) so that you get more of the picture without having to click on it or any of that nonsense. very happy to have photoshop back, hope to post much more regularly now! let me know what you think, also if you have any website tips or tricks...
